Well Wildmant has a new spokesperson, personality, model???? Yes, we would like to introduce the fabulously delicious Carlos, the Fashion Mannequin.

Carlos first hit the scene two years ago when he auditioned to be a product model. He got a few pics in, but his career did not take off. He was still a little too young and stiff.

But then he started working in the offices of Wildmant and was a regular hands-on employee. He became our perfect size Medium fit model and really pointed out flaws in each new design.

The praise of such great work pushed him further into the Wildmant spotlight. He was becoming ‘scene’ at hot pool parties, nightlife mags and occasional fashion magazines.

Now Carlos is proud to be Wildmant’s first Fashion Mannequin Personality. Bringing you the inside scoop, the deals and just her personal favorites.

Women in our society may have to struggle with many things, but appearing sexy and showing off their "goodies" is not one of them. In that arena, they’re given all the tools.

We men on the other hand, are completely shafted.

Of course women have the more obvious tools at their disposal- makeup- but these days it’s just as common to find a gay man (and many straight guys) wearing bronzer or concealer, so that’s not such a big deal. No, I’m talking about the big guns- the ones that are hidden, but do so much for the female sex: bras.

When it comes to sex appeal and attracting a suitable mate, women have an arsenal of weapons at their disposal: padded bras, push-up bras, water bras, miracle bras- the options for cleavage enhancement are nearly endless. Are they uncomfortable and expensive? Sure, but they work.

Unfortunately, society has told us that it’s not exactly kosher for a man to run around showing off his junk- no matter what size they are. So while women have the option of putting their goodies on display for the world- even making them look much bigger, rounder, and more voluptuous than they really are- guys are stuck with what nature gave them. (And if we’re lucky, a nice brief that doesn’t squish everything and make it look flat when we’re wearing fitted pants...)

Right?

Wrong!

I recently discovered the male equivelent of the push-up bra, and I’ve got to tell you, I’m a BIG fan (pun intended). I don’t know if the Ball Lifter will change my life, but it certainly hasn’t hurt in the sex appeal department, and I have to admit that my self confidence has gone up a bit as I’ve noticed more guys noticing me.

Whether that number has actually increased or it’s just in my head is still up in the air; either way, I don’t care- I feel better about myself and my package looks fabulous!

And while I initially wrote the Ball Lifter off as some tacky thing that can’t really do much for your appearance, after trying a few on and wearing them around a bit, I had a change of heart. I admit, the idea of wearing what’s essentially a belted cock ring underneath your underwear doesn’t exactly sound too sexy, but I guarantee that once you’ve got it on and put your underwear and pants on, you’ll have a change of heart too.

The Ball Lifter’s also much more comfortable than I thought it would be. In fact maybe this is just me, but because I was wearing something down there that I don’t normally wear, it brought a slightly heightened sense of awareness to my goodies. That may have enhanced the experience as well.

The difference is noticeable, but discreet. You’ll fill out your jeans a bit better, and if someone’s looking at you (like the UPS driver or the guy in the next cubicle!), you’re just a bit more likely to catch their eye- keeping it is all up to you.

You may laugh, but women have been enhancing their curves for hundreds of years. Don’t you think it’s our turn?

I started blogging a while back to chronicle my journey as I started a small underwear business. Although still small, we are leaps and bounds bigger and much more visible on the web. We have a long way to go, and at times it seems like we are taking the hardest path possible, but I believe we are on the right track.

This year marked the success of many new products from the new swim line with the built-in cock-rings to the new Protruder! As long as you keep buying them, we will keep coming up with newer styles and fresher innovative ways to make you look your best!

A lot of new things are happening this month. First and most exciting, we have launched our first swimsuit! It is a two color panel design offered in a bikini or square cut. It comes in three great color combinations! I am personally in LOVE with them and they have a great fit!

The panel design is our first, but there will be more variations of the style released over the next week. Very exciting!

Second, as per your requests, the Adjustable Ball Lifter now comes in basic black and white. It is the Ball Lifter Sport. It has more of an athletic feel to it. It is my personal favorite out of the collection and I think it will become our most popular. We have had many requests in the past, but this past gay pride in LA, a friend of mine was proudly (and drunkenly) wearing his bright Rose colored Ball Lifter under his very thin white pants. Well, needless to say, as the day went on, and the sun got hotter, he started to get....well....moist and the Rose color started to show through. Ironically, this worked to his advantage. Amazing first five months

What a crazy first five months! We launched our own label on a small scale not expecting the turn out we got. The Ball Lifter was a home run for so many of you. We are very grateful for everyone who has purchased one (or four which is the case for a lot of you). Upon request, we made the adjustable Ball Lifter and it too is having great success.

We have hit many learning curves in this business but we are having a blast getting over every hurdle. It helps having my family not only behind me in this project but part of the company. Many of you may not know that WildmanT is a family owned and run company. So my family makes it for my "family". It is very rewarding all the way around.

Things to come:
We are working on a few more designs of the Micro Jock and hope to dip our toes into the swimwear before this summer is completely over. We should be full-force for Summer 08.

This has been an exciting month. I have been able to finally release my first line of underwear (life long dream) and today is the release of my favorite item in that collection. It is the two-toned low-rise bikini. It is offered in the two contrasting colors Pale Pink and Dust Blue and it made from the comfort baby rib like the rest of the line.

A few retailers has asked about wholesaling. We are currently only offering the WildmanT line exclusively at wildmant.com. We would like to test the waters with the first few lines before we start wholesaling. However, special requests are not out of the question.

Wildmant has gotten a few more items and colors from his first line. This is definately NOT an easy process trying to start and underwear line from the ground up...while working another full time job! That's right - one man to bring home the bacon and fry it up in a pan!

We are introducing four new items to the wildmant.com site. They all come in three colors,Teal, Dust Blue, and Pale Pink and are made of a Babby rib jersey knit. The first is the WT Jock. This is the basic WT jock strap that will become a staple item that will change colors through the seasons.

The second is the Low-rise Bikini with the wide leg band. This is my favorite. It fits like a basic low-rise bikini but has a retro 50's James Bond feel.

The third item is the same Low-Rise Bikini with a standard bikini leg line with contrast white top stitching.

The last new item is the Micro Jock. Suprisingly it is very supportive and more comfortable to me than a standard jock strap. But lets face it, you wouldn't be wearing this just for the comfort:) You want someone to see you in these skimpy little things with all your glory spilling out of them!
